Chris Lewis
Chris Lewis is one of the new breeds in business excellence. Driven by the same work ethic and desire to be a champion that led him to play professional football in Canada’s CFL, he had, by the age of 30 successfully lifted a wholesale foods company to a multi-million dollar operation and was a key architect in designing and delivering on the new world of deregulated power. Leading the group at ENMAX Energy in Calgary, Canada to market dominance and a customer contract book of over $2Billion dollars.
At 31 he was a contributing author on Trump University’s Wealth Builder’s Blueprint Career Champion series and a management coach to middle managers from small business owners to multi-national corporations across North America.
Even with some great successes, Chris always wondered if there was a better way to bring together the strategy of an organization with the actual results that needed to be delivered on a daily and weekly basis. Remembering the focus from his football days; he wondered why businesses lacked the clarity of a game plan, a simple one-page plan for how to achieve success. This desire, paired with disgust for binder-thick strategic plans that gather dust and are never executed on, formed the concept of ‘Strategic Operations’.
A clear and simple one-page plan that bridged accountability and lead to immediate and measurable actions is what companies needed. Built flexible enough that if the business environment throws a proverbial curve ball, the plan can adjust to ensure that victory is always the planned result. Thus the STRIDE One-Page Strategic Operating Plan was born and companies across North America have responded to the simplicity and implementation that has resulted.
A graduate of the University of Calgary with a degree in Communications, Chris has two wonderful children, Jaida and Tyson.
He’s the strategist who sees the biggest picture, the coach who brings out the best, and — most of all — the team player who gets things done.
